The Sequence of Study

Move the body. When movement is apparent, concentrate on releasing and aligning. When releasing and aligning appears concentrate on the forces. Once the forces appear concentrate on the mind.

The Sequence of the mind

Mind moves together with the body

Mind moves slightly ahead

Then just send the mind and be aware of the body responding

The Route to Inside

If all one trains is external movement that is all you will have

So make the body passive, and the mind active, to connect the body and mind or the movement of the mind is fantasy

Keep the intention out of the upper body and focus on the lower body – this is the first step in training the intention deepening

The next step is to focus the intention on the force and not on the external movement

The cycle

Check what you need to adjust: releasing, aligning, intention, awareness.

Dealing with Tension

One must be aware of small destabilising forces in order to remove them. It is definitely wrong to tighten up to cover, or get rid of the forces.

i)                    release tension – small destabilising forces appear

ii)                  do not tighten (even though it is uncomfortable) – be aware of the destabilising forces in order to integrate them and refine the movement correctly

Training the Mind

When training the body in the earlier stages being attentive for 50% will bring improvement.

When training the mind you need 100% to gain any improvement.

Be clear about what you are practicing in the form and make 100% certain that you do it in every movement – even if it throws the rest of your body out.

This is training the mind and training the body to follow it.

The Mind

Initially the mind is used to change the movements, later the mind leads the body

In the external movement of the mind it is just moving (up and down the body etc)

Internal mind is the mind changing its state.

Forces

The most material components of internal force are the pressures in the body
